Congratulations to Pavani and Neal on their wedding! This past weekend on November 13th, 2011 Pavani and Neal were married at the Indian Cultural Center in Tampa, FL. The bride wore a beautiful traditional pink and gold sari with gold jewelry that complimented the designs on her dress. As for the groom, he looked handsome in a traditional cream and red sherwani with a red dupatta draped around his neck.
… the decorationsOne of the most important features for a wedding is the decorations. At Pavani and Neal’s wedding, the décor and ambiance were created by Suhaag Garden, and I must say that it was breath taking! They had great color combinations picked out for their events.
The wedding had a brown wooden arch/mandap that went perfectly with the white and yellow martini draping. In between the draping, they chose to have up-lighting to light up the whole banquet hall. The reception was perfectly set up with gorgeous yellow and white floral centerpieces along with some crystal décor.
As for their photographer, Pavani and Neal chose Kate Byars to help capture their incredible moments together. Kate was a pleasure to work with and she definitely knew her way around an Indian wedding, as evidenced by the pictures she took throughout the day. Food is an important part of any event. At this event, they had naan, shrimp curry, rice, raita, cake, and much more. When it was time for dinner, all the guests walked over to the buffet tables to get a taste of the delicious dinner that was being served. In my experience, and as mentioned by many guests, the food was made to perfection.
The event ended with all of Pavani and Neal’s family and friends dancing the night away. It was one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve seen and I am very glad that I got to be a big part of their special day. I wish Pavani and Neal the best in their future together.

When planning your event this year, make sure you stay in sync with the 2011 fall colors. Some of the ways you can incorporate these colors to your event this year is by having the table linens, chair sashes, and décor be a mix of the colors.
For example, if you are planning a wedding choose a fall color for your bridesmaid dresses. Another way is to have elegant floral centerpieces with a single or mix of the fall colors. Choose your favorite fall colors and brainstorm creative and fun ideas on how to make your event unique and fabulous.

In the Japanese tradition, kimonos are worn as wedding gowns. A kimono is a long, loose robe with wide sleeves and tied with a sash.
The formal kimono is often made of a cotton and silk blend fabric. Traditionally kimonos are sewn and decorated by hand. They can also be worn at any party or given as a truly unique gift.
